WILKES-BARRE — A teenager from Avoca accused of sexually assaulting three boys waived his right to a preliminary hearing Friday in Luzerne County Central Court.

Austin William Quick, 18, of Main Street, will now face in county court three separate counts each of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and corruption of minors.

Prosecutors withdrew 15 other counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, nine counts of statutory sexual assault, eight counts of indecent assault, three counts each of sexual assault and indecent exposure, and a single count of indecent exposure.

Avoca police charged Quick with three separate criminal complaints due to three alleged victims.

According to the complaints:

Two boys told police and a forensic interviewer at the Luzerne County Children’s Advocacy Center that Quick molested one of them and asked the other to get involved. One of the boys said Quick assaulted him at least five times in woods or inside a residence on Main Street.

A third boy claimed Quick asked to perform oral sex on him. When the boy refused, he claimed Quick began to tickle him roughly until he relented.
