HAZLETON — Police are looking for a 20-year-old man who fired several shots at a female as she was traveling in a vehicle Tuesday, according to Hazleton Chief Jerry Speziale.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Mine and Vine streets at approximately 12:30 p.m. for a reported shooting, a press release stated. Investigators said they determined Manuel Stevens Lora, of Hazleton, was the one who fired at the female, who was not injured.
An arrest warrant was secured within three hours of the incident, Speziale noted. Stevens Lora is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, and a weapons offense.
