WILKES-BARRE — An area lawyer was selected for the Nation’s Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel.
Daniel Distasio, of Distasio & Kowalski LLC, was selected for the honor.
The NADC’s main purpose is to objectively acknowledge attorneys with legal excellence, who provide a high standard for other lawyers to echo. Membership is decided by a thorough investigation from a research team, selected by an elite panel of lawyers with podium status, and then approved by a judicial review board. Nominations can come from other members, fellow attorneys or clients.
The award is highly selective, with only the top ten percent of attorneys being awarded membership. The members of NADC must have demonstrated character and virtue in their practice.
Daniel Distasio has been a litigator for more than 25 years as a principal of Distasio & Kowalski LLC, a Wilkes-Barre area personal injury law firm which focuses on medical malpractice, car and truck accidents, product liability, birth injuries, and personal injury/wrongful death.
Distasio was previously named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for the 10 consecutive years.
