WILKES-BARRE — A city man was arraigned Tuesday on an arrest warrant charging him with luring a girl into a residence and throwing her onto a couch last year.
City police allege Lance Jebocka Kollore, 53, convinced a preteen girl to walk onto the porch of a South Franklin Street residence, then forced her inside and threw her onto a couch on Aug. 27.
The girl told police Kollore then dropped his pants and exposed part of his genitals before she ran out, court records say.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for Kollore on Sept. 30.
According to the criminal complaint:
The girl and a friend were riding bicycles in the 800 block of South Franklin Street when Kollore began calling to the girl while he stood on the porch. She recognized Kollore from the neighborhood and ignored his calls because he was intoxicated.
She claimed Kollore then said, “Come here, I want to talk to you,” saying her father owed him some money. The girl told police she felt comfortable going onto Kollore’s porch because he knew her father.
Once on the porch, the girl claimed Kollore grabbed her left wrist and right arm and forced her into the residence. As the girl pleaded with Kollore to let her go, he partially pulled his pants down, she told police.
The girl escaped and ran out of the residence crying.
Police said the girl and a friend described Kollore, who was not able to be found at the home. A homeowner told police Kollore rented a bedroom there. After the alleged incident, the homeowner told Kollore to leave.
Kollore was arraigned by District Judge Michael Dotzel in Wilkes-Barre Township on charges of luring a child, false imprisonment, unlawful restraint, corruption of minors, reckless endangerment and simple assault.
He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $250,000 bail.
