SUGAR NOTCH — An accident in Sugar Notch has left some people without power, while the driver was taken to a hospital.

At approximately 6:25 p.m. Sunday, a woman driving a white Jeep Sahara crashed into a utility pole in the area of 906 Main St.

The pole was severed, bringing down utility poles with it and knocking out power.

After the accident, the driver was able to walk into an ambulance before being taken for an examination.

There is no word on her condition.
