ROSS TWP. — History came alive on Thursday, March 19 as the fifth and sixth grade students of Ross Elementary reenacted the lives of many historical figures during an event called “Living Museum.”

The students began working on the projects in January under the guidance of their teacher Melissa Jarnot. All students were expected to write an essay, create a biography poster or cereal box, and then give a presentation memorizing three interesting facts about their chosen historical figures.

On March 19, everything came together. The halls of Ross Elementary were filled with visitors learning history from the students. Visitors were asked to push a sticker on the students. The students then went from being a “wax figure” to being a famous person from history.
