MCADOO — A McAdoo resident is being sought by U.S. Marshals on allegations he threatened government officials, including President Donald Trump.

Federal authorities served a search warrant at the house of Shawn Richard Christy, 26, on South Harrison Street just after 5 a.m. Wednesday. Christy was not found and is considered armed and dangerous, according to U.S. Marshals.

A poster released by U.S. Marshals says Christy is wanted for failure to appear for aggravated assault charges in Schuylkill County and a probation violation in Northampton County.

A search of federal court records did not return any charges or a grand jury indictment against Christy, but federal prosecutors commonly release those type of records after a defendant has been taken into custody.

Christy served nine months in federal prison in Alaska in 2011 on charges he harassed the lawyers of then vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
