SCRANTON — A woman from Brooklyn, New York, reportedly exited a moving vehicle and died early Saturday on Interstate 81 near the Davis Street exit for Scranton, troopers report.
An autopsy on Rachel Teplitsky, 26, is set for Sunday, police say.
The incident occurred about 2:25 a.m. in the southbound lanes.
Police say a witness saw a dark-colored SUV that may have been involved in or observed what happened.
Troopers want to hear from anyone who has information on the victim, the dark-colored SUV or has additional details on the incident. Tipsters can call the Dunmore barracks at 570-963-3156.
