Holiday Inn Express, 30 Concorde Dr., Dupont: Regular inspection, in compliance. Violations: The handwash sink in the kitchen area was blocked by equipment and not accessible at all times for employee use. Food employees observed in kitchen area, not wearing proper hair restraints, such as nets or hats.
Mr. Frost Cream II-MFF 3, 727 Lincoln Plaza, Hazleton: Opening inspection, in compliance. Violations: Depot location has on ware wash sink large enough to accommodate the FD machine mix buckets for clean up/sanitizing-prior to ‘19 season a new ware wash sink shall be installed at depot-truck 2 equipment will be cleaned for this season using sinks in truck 1. Mold build up on fan guard on refrigerator in garage.
Norman’s Root Beer – TFS-3 Back Mountain Library Auction, 96 Huntsville Rd., Dallas: Regular inspection, in compliance.
Purple Rose Cafe, 2202 Route 940, Drifton: Regular inspection, in compliance. Violations: Consumer advisory missing from take out menu. Main menus display consumer advisory. Water stains on 2 ceiling panels in kitchen. Approximately 1 inch gaps along bottom of the 2 entry doors, not rodent proof.
The Lands at Hillside Farms – TFS – Back Mountain Library Auction, 96 Huntsville Rd., Dallas: Regular inspection, in compliance.
Domino’s Pizza, 200 Kennedy Blvd., Pittston: Regular inspection, in compliance. Violations: No paper towels provided at the hand wash sink in the prep area. Paper towels were provided. Bain Marie observed with an ambient temperature of 54*F. Foods were removed from unit. Equipment will be serviced prior to storage of TCS foods. Hand wash sink is loose and needs to be repaired. Foods (bacon, sausage, pepperoni) held at 47 °F, in the pizza prep area, rather than 41°F or below as required. Foods were within the safe time limit and were moved into the walk in unit. Deteriorating rubber door gaskets observed on the Bain Marie unit.
Redner’s Warehouse Mkt., 200 N. Township Rd., Pittston: Regular inspection, in compliance. Violations: Lights are not shielded or shatter proof over the produce shelving area. Lights were replaced. Receiving door located in the area of the food facility has a gap and does not protect against the entry of insects, rodents, and other animals. Observed 10 small flies on bagged onions in the produce area. Onions were discarded. Observed a build up of residue on the shelves in the produce area. Shelves were cleaned. Observed the paint peeling on metal shelves in the sales area.
