COURTDALE — An Ashley man was arraigned Friday on charges he took part in the alleged beating and robbery of a man inside home here earlier this week.

Cody Michael Wolfe, 23, of Brown Street, and two others confronted Justin Mausteller about a stolen cell phone before they assaulted and robbed him inside 252 Courtdale Ave. on July 15, according to court records.

Mausteller claimed Wolfe, Michelle Bruno Urevitch, 28, and Christopher Joseph Benussi, 25, threatened to kill him with a knife and a screwdriver.

Wolfe was arraigned by District Judge Thomas Malloy on two counts of robbery, and one count each of terroristic threats, theft, simple assault and harassment. He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $50,000 bail.

Urevitch, who resides in the Courtdale Avenue residence, was arraigned on similar charges Wednesday. She remained jailed Friday for lack of $10,000 bail.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Benussi, of Kingston.

According to criminal complaints:

Mausteller called state police at about 11:42 p.m. July 15, claiming he was assaulted in a bedroom inside the residence and robbed of $156, cigarettes and a cell phone. He said Wolfe, Urevitch and Benussi accused him of stealing a phone.

During the altercation, Mausteller claimed the trio threatened to kill him and were armed with a knife and a screwdriver.

Troopers went to the residence and spoke with Urevitch.

Urevitch told troopers Wolfe and Benussi were not inside. She permitted troopers to search the house, and a knife and screwdriver were found in a bedroom.

Troopers left the residence but returned shortly after, finding Wolfe and Benussi inside.
