A family member of Linda Frick has set up an online fundraiser to cover the cost of her memorial services.

Frick, 56, was found dead in a vehicle outside the Kingston home of her boyfriend, Dana Ganjeh, 39, on Saturday morning. Prosecutors say Ganjeh beat Frick to death. On Wednesday, Ganjeh was formally charged with a count of criminal homicide. Charges of aggravated assault were withdrawn by prosecutors.

Sharon Delaney Frick, who says she is Frick’s sister-in-law, began a GoFundMe campaign to help cover funeral costs.

In her post, Delaney Frick writes that the loss of Frick has been “especially devastating.”

“Anyone that knew Linda and her larger than life personality knows how often she gave to every benefit,” Delaney Frick wrote. “Whether it be donating her bartending service, making her broccoli salad, to giving you her last few bucks.”

The GoFundMe campaign was created Sunday. Since then, 18 people have donated a total of $960 toward the campaign’s $5,000 goal. All proceeds raised will be going toward Frick’s funeral services, the post says.

Delaney Frick could not be reached for comment Wednesday.
