Teen girl assaulted in Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE — City police reported a 15-year-old girl was attacked by three male juveniles on Wall Street on Wednesday.

Police said they responded to the area of 17 Wall St., off Hazle Street, where the girl was slashed multiple times just after 10 a.m.

At least one of the three juveniles called the girl by her name, police said.

Police said the girl was thrown to the ground and struck by one or more of the juveniles.
