WB garbage schedule

changes due to holiday

WILKES-BARRE — In observance of Labor Day on Monday, City Hall will be closed and there will be no DPW services. City Hall will reopen Tuesday.

Residents in the downtown and South Wilkes-Barre 1 neighborhoods with a Monday collection date will have their garbage and yard waste picked up on Tuesday.

Recycling pickup will resume the following week on Sept. 10. All other collection dates will remain as scheduled.

WILKES-BARRE — The Heights-Mayflower Residents Association will hold its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Restored Church, 74 S. Meade St. All are welcome to attend.
