HANOVER TWP. — Police arrested two people Saturday for allegedly selling crystal meth in the township.
Melissa Pruveadenti, 39, of First Street, Hanover Township, and Mike Finley, 52, of New Hancock Street, Wilkes-Barre, were arrested by the Luzerne County Drug Task Force in conjunction with the Hanover Township Narcotics Unit for trafficking meth, authorities report.
According to police:
During narcotics operations, crystal meth was purchased from Pruveadenti.
She and Finley were taken into custody just before 7 p.m. Saturday.
Narcotics officers recovered crystal meth, a digital scale, a small amount of marijuana and U.S. currency from both suspects.
Pruveadenti faces multiple counts of delivering crystal meth and possession with intent of delivery. She was also charged with criminal conspiracy.
Finley was charged with possession with intent to deliver crystal meth, criminal conspiracy, possession of a small amount of marijuana, driving while his license is suspended and a stop sign violation.
Pruveadenti and Finley were transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for overnight arraignment.
They were remanded to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility after both were unable to post $35,000 bail set by Judge Ferris Webby.
