WILKES-BARRE — The City of Wilkes-Barre Health Department has announced the schedule for free flu vaccine clinics.

All flu vaccine clinics are for city residents only. They must bring proof of residency.

Quadrivalent influenza vaccine (designed to protect against four different flu viruses) will be available for anyone 6 months of age and older. The High-Dose flu vaccine is available for those who are 65 and older.

Here’s the schedule for upcoming clinics:

Kirby Health Center, 71 N. Franklin St.

Wednesday, Oct. 3: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 11: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 15: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 19: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. — drive-thru clinic

Monday, Oct. 29: 10 a.m. to noon; 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Drive-thru clinic at Kistler Elementary, 301 Old River Road

Saturday, Oct. 13: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Hollenback Fire Station, 1020 N. Washington St.

Monday, Oct. 22: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 905 S. Main St.

Thursday, Oct. 25: 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
