SCRANTON — The saga of Shawn Christy continues.

Christy, the McAdoo man who eluded authorities for majority of the summer after allegedly threatening to kill President Donald Trump along with any member of law enforcement who got in his way, filed a new motion in federal court this week for out-of-custody medical treatment.

He also filed a criminal complaint, alleging former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s ex-son-in-law Dakota Meyer threatened him over Facebook.

Christy, who recently had his motion for a new detention hearing struck down by U.S. District Judge Robert D. Mariani, states in his two-page pro se that he has not been provided with the proper medical care or the same standard care as an out-of-custody patient.

He claims he’s suffering from severe dental issues, chronic knee and head pain, a toenail fungal infection along with heart issues. Christy says he also suffers from short-term memory loss and a head/neck trauma injury from law enforcement agents.

Facebook messages were provided as evidence to document Christy’s alleged ailments.

Christy, 27, also filed a criminal complaint against Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer.

Christy allegedly broke into the home of Meyer’s brother in Adair County, Kentucky, in August during his time on the run. Police say he stole food and a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee from a detached garage.

A post on Meyer’s Facebook page is a focus of Christy’s complaint that alleges Meyer made a threat.

Christy said the post stated: “Stop being a b—— Shawn and tell me where to meet you. Stop running and let’s make it simple. I’ll share my location with you don’t try to act like this complicated or hard to find me you f——— idiot.”

On Jan. 9, Christy’s federal public defender Heidi R. Freese and assistant public defender Elliot A. Smith filed a motion to sever Christy’s counts and have separate trials.

Prosecutors are opposing that request.

Christy is currently housed in the Lackawanna County Correctional Facility. He was denied bail by U.S. Magistrate Judge Joseph F. Saporito in November.

His federal charges include counts for alleged threats, firearms violations, and interstate transportation of a stolen vehicle.

Christy was captured Sept. 21 in a wooded area of Mifflin Township, Ohio.
