YATESVILLE — Pittston Area High School hosted an evening of music at the Music in Our Schools Month concert on Monday, March 30. The event featured performances by the school’s jazz band, concert band and chorus, all under the direction of music teacher Adam Burdett. The event was held to raise awareness of the importance of music programs in schools. The concert coincided with Music in Our Schools Month, which is observed in March and is sponsored by the National Association for Music Education.
