WILKES-BARRE — West Market Street between River and Franklin streets remains closed as crews repair a broken 12-inch water main Thursday.

South and North River streets were temporarily closed earlier this morning and have since reopened.

Susan M. Turcmanovich, Pennsylvania American Water external affairs manager, said approximately eight customers are impacted and repairs should be completed Thursday afternoon.
