HAZLETON — City police are searching for Jhon Perdomo Carvajal, 25, who they say stabbed a man during a fight early Monday morning.

Police responded to a residence in the 700 block of West Diamond Avenue just before 3:30 a.m. on a report a man declining medical attention for multiple stab wounds.

Police allege Carvajal stabbed the victim multiple times in a fight near a food truck along state Route 924.

An arrest warrant was issued for Carvajal, of Hazleton, on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats and reckless endangerment.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Carvajal is asked to call 911.

Police said the victim was transported to an area medical facility.
