DALLAS TWP. — Township police said a man was killed when struck by a vehicle on Route 309 early Saturday morning.

Police identified the man as Andrew Livinghouse, 34, of Cochranville, Chester County.

Livinghouse was standing in the middle of the roadway when he was struck by a 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage, driven by Marilynn Stark, of Nanticoke, at about 2:20 a.m.

Police said Livinghouse was wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants and a black hat when he was struck. It is unknown why Livinghouse was standing in the roadway, police said.

No charges are expected.

Livinghouse was pronounced dead at the scene. No autopsy is scheduled.
