DALLAS — A woman was arraigned Tuesday on charges that she made terroristic threats to the Pennsylvania Game Commission back in January of 2017.

Augusta Dirosato, 25, of Media, appeared before District Judge Brian J. Tupper on charges of terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct after she allegedly placed a call to the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s northeast regional office located in Dallas.

“Ignorant, egotistical humans think it’s OK to hunt animals,” the caller said to dispatcher Rebecce Swingle-Aylesworth before threatening to “blow it [the building] the (expletive) up with everyone inside.”

After the first call disconnected, a second call was placed to the office from a blocked number, again making threats to kill Swingle-Aylesworth before disconnecting again.

After an officer from the Dallas Police Department arrived and listened to the rEcordings of the calls, he was able to obtain the number that the calls originated from.

The number belonged to a Barbara Maletsky, who was originally from Delaware before moving to Media in 2016.

Further investigation revealed that five such calls had been made to numbers associated with the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

Maletsky has two known daughters, and eventually the investigation turned to Dirosato.

The criminal complaint was filed on April 13, 2017. Bail has been set at $15,000, and a preliminary hearing has been set for Sept. 26.
