WILKES-BARRE TWP. — Comedian John Crist has canceled his remaining dates of his “Immature Thoughts” tour, including a scheduled show at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza on Sunday.

On the Mohegan Sun Arena’s website, a post for the canceled event read, “In an effort to focus on his health, John Crist has made the decision to cancel his remaining tour dates. Refunds will be automatically credited to your account. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of John.”

The announcement comes after published reports this week accused the Christian comedian of sexual misconduct. According to Charisma News, five women have come forward with allegations and there were reports that Crist “exploited his Christian reputation and platform to harass, manipulate and exploit young women over the last seven years.”

On Wednesday, Crist released a statement to Charisma News, stating that he has “privately sought and received regular professional treatment for my sexual sin and addiction struggles.” He apologized to his fans about canceling the tour and will spend his time “on getting healthy spiritually, mentally and physically.”

Ticketholders can get refunds at point of purchase, at the box office or through Ticketmaster.
