KINGSTON — Police said they arrested three out of four juveniles who allegedly took part in an armed robbery and assault of a man in the area of Pringle Street and Brook Avenue on Nov. 1.

Two 17-year-old boys, Donald Eugene Skinner Jr., and Chase Krzywicki, both of Edwardsville, were charged as adults with robbery, criminal conspiracy to commit robbery, theft and simple assault.

Skinner was arraigned Tuesday by District Judge James Haggerty in Kingston. Bail information was not available.

Krzywicki was arraigned Nov. 2. and remains jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility, Wilkes-Barre, for lack of $250,000 bail.

According to the criminal complaints:

A man told police he was walking on a patch that runs parallel to Brook Avenue near Pringle Street at about 10 p.m. on Nov. 1, when he was approached by four men.

He claimed he was knocked to the ground and kicked in the head. He told police one of the attackers shoved what he believed to be the barrel of a handgun in his mouth.

Police said his wallet containing $7, a military identification card, driver’s license and bank cards was stolen.

Minutes after the alleged armed robbery and assault, police spotted four men on Price Street.

A foot chase ended with the arrests of Skinner and Krzywicki.

Police said Skinner admitted his friends decided to attack a man they saw walking on a path but he denied participating in the assault. Skinner told police he did not know which one of his friends had the weapon.

Police said a 14-year-old boy from Wilkes-Barre was petitioned to Luzerne County Juvenile Court.

A fourth arrest is pending, police said.
