HANOVER TWP. — A Nanticoke man was arrested on felony drug trafficking charges as a result of a joint investigation by township police, Nanticoke police and the Luzerne County Drug Task Force.

Dwane Abramson, 43, was arrested when he attempted to flee out the back door of his residence on Phillips Street when authorities executed a search warrant at the home on Wednesday, according to a police news release.

Authorities allege Abramson sold crack cocaine on four separate occasions in Hanover Township.

Abramson was arraigned by District Judge Donald Whittaker in Nanticoke on eight counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and four counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was jailed at the county correctional facility without bail.

Authorities said Abramson was on federal probation for firearm violations.
