WILKES-BARRE — Wilkes-Barre extended the Neighborhood Beautification Façade Improvement program deadline until Jan. 10 of next year.

Any city resident who owns property that is used as their primary residence on the designated street as defined by the grant application is eligible to apply. Property owners will be eligible for a 50% match up to $3,000.

The designated streets are as follows: West River; Grove; Butler; Barney; Hanover; North Pennsylvania Avenue; South Meade; North Meade; Dana; Empire; Brown; South Franklin; High; and North Pennsylvania Avenue.

Application materials are also available from the City Clerk’s Office.

Completed applications must be returned to the City Clerk’s Office, 4th Floor, City Hall, 40 E. Market St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711, by 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 10.
