SCRANTON — Marywood University undergraduate students placed first at The Fleming Institute for Business Ethics Bowl Competition at DeSales University. Marywood’s 2015 undergraduate Grand Champion team is led by advisors Sarah Kenehan, Ph.D., assistant professor of philosophy; and Murray Pyle, Ph.D., assistant professor in the School of Business and Global Innovation at the university.

The competition consisted of two parts, with the top teams advancing to the “final four.” Each team presented its solution to a common case, which they have had for several months. Teams were given a “twist” and 40 minutes to prepare a 10-minute presentation. During each phase of the competition, a panel of judges asked questions to test the teams’ knowledge of the ethical and business aspects of the case.
