WILKES-BARRE — The Wilkes-Barre Citizens Blight Committee will hold a cleanup from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today, Saturday, May 16, in the city’s North End.

Participants will meet at 47 Johnson St. and focus on an illegal dump site nearby.

Masks must be worn and participants will stay far enough apart to comply with social distancing measures in place to slow the spread of the coronavirus. The city of Wilkes-Barre is supplying a container for the litter and councilman John Marconi will provide pizza at 12:30 p.m.
