The remains of a former commercial building at Route 309 and Blackman Street in Wilkes-Barre Township are seen on Friday afternoon. The site is being cleared to make way for a Burger King restaurant. A new Turkey Hill project is planned for the opposite side of Blackman Street, which will include a gas station, convenience store, restaurant and car wash.
