Geisinger physicians take a knee

PLAINS TWP. — The resident physicians of Geisinger invited all members of the Geisinger family to observe a period of silence together on Friday to demonstrate support for Black Lives Matter, as seen in these photos.

Participants gathered at noon at campuses including Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center to kneel for 8 minutes and 46 seconds in honor of George Floyd, who died last month while being restrained by police officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
