LEHMAN TWP. — In a short meeting with three board members absent and all votes unanimous, the Lake-Lehman School Board approved a Memorandum Of Understanding with the the teacher union “in regard to a one year extension of the current collective bargaining agreement for the 2020-21 school year. The board did not provide any details in the virtual meeting held via Zoom.

That vote came amid an agenda packed with approval of resignations, rescinded hires and new appointments. The board:

• Appointed Megan Margavage as school nurse at $48,996.

• Appointed Mauri Bohan as per-diem substitute teacher, and Amy Huntington as per diem substitute under the Luzerne Intermediate Unit Guest Teacher Program with an emergency certification, both at $90 per day.

• Accepted the resignation of head baseball coach Leonard Sincavage, and appointed Andrew Sabaluski as assistant girls volleyball coach, Christopher Kuhar as head swimming coach at $3,881, and Stephanie Gover as assistant boys soccer coach at $2,557.
