SCRANTON — Local performing artists are invited to participate in the inaugural Scranton Fringe Festival, set to take over multiple venues across downtown Scranton this fall from Oct. 1 through 4.
Fringe Festivals are celebrations of the performing arts. The first occurred in Edinburgh Scotland in 1947 and quickly spread across the globe.
All performing arts based groups and artists may apply, and applications are accepted until 11:59 p.m. April 10. There are no application or production fees and all accepted shows will be given 50 percent of the gross box office.
All applications must be submitted via the fringe website at scrantonfringe.org/apply.
