Marywood University Senior Art Exhibition 2015, now through April 26 in the Mahady Gallery. A group exhibition of undergraduate art students receiving their bachelor of art and fine art degrees in art education, art therapy, graphic design, illustration, painting, and sculpture. Gallery hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday; 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The 2015 Keystone College Senior Art Exhibition, now through April 24 at Art Works Gallery and Studio and AFA Gallery, Lackawanna Ave., Scranton. Features student works in graphic design, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, photography and print.
Spring 2015 Film Festival Opening Night Gala, doors open at 5:30 p.m. April 10 at the Dietrich Theater in Tunkhannock. Features food, two films, beer, wine, desserts and more. Cost: $40. The 2014 Season Northeast Pennsylvania Theatrical Alliance (NEPTA) Awards Dinner, April 11 at Ehrhardt’s Waterfront Resort at Lake Wallenpaupack. Schedule includes cash bar at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. and the awards show at 7:30 p.m. Formal attire required. The Endless Mountains Spirit: M.C. Richards and Paulus Berensohn, Opening reception 6 to 8 p.m. April 18 and gallery talk 3 p.m. April 22 at Marywood University. The exhibition is on display through May 8 in the Suraci Gallery and documents a synergetic nexus of the arts when clay artists and teachers Mary Caroline Richards and Paulus Berensohn lived and worked in Northeast Pennsylvania (1960-1970s) and their lasting legacy of creativity.
