WILKES-BARRE — Samir Pancholy, M.D., a member of medical staffs of three Commonwealth Health hospitals, co-authored a research study that was published in The New England Journal of Medicine.
Pancholy is one of the authors of “Randomized Trial of Primary PCI With or Without Routine Manual Thrombectomy,” published March 16.
Pancholy is affiliated with North Penn Cardiovascular Specialists, Clarks Summit, and is on the medical staffs of Tyler Memorial Hospital, Regional Hospital of Scranton and Moses Taylor Hospital.
Pancholy earned a medical degree from the State University of New York Stony Brook School of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson Hospital.
