DALLAS — The classic ballet, “Swan Lake,” will be staged by the Joan Harris Dancers on April 25 and 26 at the Dallas Performing Arts Center on the campus of the Dallas High School.

Over 400 dancers from all across Northeastern Pennsylvania will appear in the three weekend performances directed by Elisabeth Harris, of Dallas, and Jennifer Harris, of Wilkes-Barre Township.

Assaying the demanding double role of Odette-Odil will be Anna Giacometti, of Dallas, and Mat Ocasio, who will play the part of the doomed Prince Seigfried, joins her. Other cast members include Akeem Nugent, Hanover, as the prince’s best friend Benno; Rob Robertson, Wilkes-Barre, as the evil sorcerer Von Rothbart; and Laura Berrini, Larksville, as the commanding queen.

The Court Jester will be played by Keturah McLeod, Pittston with James Sinclair, Kingston, as the Prince Seigfried’s tutor, Wolfgang. The role of the four cygnets will be performed by Caitlyn Berrini, Larksville, Juliana Buonsante, Exeter, Caroline Conrad, Dallas and Kelsey Hall, Wyoming.

Curtain times for the ballet are 1 and 5 p.m. Saturday, April 25 with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, April 26.
