WILKES-BARRE TWP. — Police arrested Bradford Thomson, 27, of Brooklyn, New York, at about 9 p.m. Saturday after he was allegedly caught shoplifting at Walmart Supercenter.

According to store security, Thomson was in possession of $76 worth of merchandise when he was apprehended. Police allege Thompson provided them with false names when asked to identify himself.

Police said that after being fingerprinted via LiveScan with the assistance of Kingston Police, Thomson was positively identified.

Thomson was charged with retail theft and providing false identification to law enforcement. He was detained at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
