WILKES-BARRE — Two men face obstructing administration of law and disorderly conduct charges after interfering with officers responding to a fight, according to police.

According to a police report:

An officer on patrol on Saturday morning heard screaming and observed a group of people fighting on a porch at a residence on Academy Street.

A male was observed fleeing into the residence and ignored the officer’s commands to stop. A female then grabbed the officer in an attempt to stop him.

The officer broke free from her grasp and then was confronted by Justin Harrison, 27, and Maurice Hill, 44.

Hill was pushed out of the way and the male who was first observed fleeing into the home exited via a rear door.
