LUZERNE — A borough woman faces several charges after she fought with police officers after being found naked in a Bennett Street apartment complex on Thursday, according to a police report.

Tammy Bronsburg, age unknown, was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to a police report:

Borough officers responded to Luzerne Towers on Bennett Street for a report of an intoxicated woman running around naked. Once they arrived, they found Bronsburg sitting naked on the floor of the complex saying things that “made no sense.”

Bronsburg then let officers into her apartment where they observed a Christmas tree knocked over and broken decorations scattered around the floor.

Bronsburg then started to use profanities, yelling at officers and telling them to leave. She then attempted to kick an officer in the leg twice. Officers attempted to place Bronsburg into custody, and she resisted.

Once taken into custody, she evaluated by emergency medical technician. While being evaluated, she kicked the technician in the face. Drug paraphernalia was also located in plain view in the residence.

Bronsburg was arraigned before District Judge David Barilla. She remains at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $500 bail.
