Sunshine will stick around the Wyoming Valley as the week progresses, but some rain and snow could fall on Thursday.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 10 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fair skies were reported.

Sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 32. Partly cloudy skies will follow tonight, with a low around 22.

Mostly sunny skies will stick around into Wednesday, with a high near 37. Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Wednesday night, with a low around 28.

Thursday will bring mostly cloudy skies, along with a slight chance of rain and snow showers. A 30 percent chance of precipitation is predicted, but no precipitation amounts have been predicted. The high will be near 39.

Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Thursday night, along with a slight chance of rain and snow showers before 8 p.m. The low will be around 27.
