HANOVER TWP. — A man is facing drug charges stemming from an investigation by the Luzerne County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force.

The task force, in conjunction with Hanover Township Police Department’s narcotics division, arrested Edwin Dejesus, 33, in the parking lot of a business on South Main Street on Thursday.

Police allege Dejesus made delivers of crack cocaine within Hanover Township.

Dejesus faces three felony counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, three felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance, and three misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Dejesus was arraigned on his charges before Magisterial District Judge Daniel O’Donnell on Thursday, and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Joseph Halesey at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 24.

Dejesus is jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $150,000 bail.
