WILKES-BARRE — City Police said Plymouth resident Nathan Powell had a hypodermic needle on him when he was brought to headquarters after being picked up Wednesday night on a bench warrant.

Wilkes-Barre Police said they took Powell, 28, into custody because of the warrant. After the needle allegedly was found, police charged Powell with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned Thursday and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
