WILKES-BARRE — The Wilkes-Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center is hosting a town hall for Veterans, family members and the public to provide feedback on VA operations and recommendations for VA programs. Employees will be on hand to assist Veterans with filing and status of claims and other benefits services.
The public is encouraged to attend.
Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center Director Russell E. Lloyd and VA representatives will be on hand to answer questions.
The meeting is set for Tuesday, March 13, at 5 p.m. at the VA Medical Center, 2nd floor recreation room, 1111 East End Blvd.
The town hall is one of many the VA is holding around the country. The meetings are intended to provide local veterans an open forum and for VA officials to hear directly from beneficiaries as a step toward improvement and to rebuild trust among Veterans.
