Image of infant’s buttocks was Trump joke, child-porn suspect says

DALLAS TWP. — A township man admitted to uploading a picture of an infant girl’s buttocks, but he said he did it to illustrate a political message about President Donald Trump being an a—, according to court records filed Wednesday.

Despite the alleged political joke, detectives charged Peter Austin Frateschi, 46, also known as Dylan Roberts, of Overbrook Lane, with child pornography, dissemination of pictures of children engaged in sex acts and criminal use of a communication facility.

According to a criminal complaint:

Detectives received a tip last month from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an image of an infant girl’s buttocks was uploaded to Facebook, which was traced to Dylan Roberts.

When detectives questioned Frateschi at his residence Tuesday, he explained he opened his Facebook account in 2007 under his stage name Dylan Roberts when he plays music.

Frateschi explained to detectives he uploaded the image to a post regarding Trump, claiming the image was used to demonstrate that Trump is an a—. He claimed he found the picture on Google images while searching a—, and did not realize the image was that of an infant girl.

Frateschi claimed he may have been intoxicated when he uploaded the image, and he has never searched for child pornography because that kind of stuff disgusts him.

Detectives searched Frateschi’s laptop and found the image renamed “Trump1” in a folder called “Random Stuff.”

Frateschi claimed after he uploaded the image, his Facebook account was suspended.

Detectives said they could not find the image when searching Google images.

Frateschi was arraigned by District Judge Thomas Malloy in Luzerne County Central Court and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
