Wondering what’s aloft

Everyday we see the sky,

marvel at its creator, oh so high!

There are times of anger or fright,

and stars twinkling in the middle of the night.

Things of beauty with nature surrounding us,

even though we get too busy to notice because of too much fuss.

Places like Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, just to name a few,

literally blow our minds with such beauty — Whew!

Every time one looks, even snow looks nice,

because everything has a purpose, and I wonder about ice.

Moisture keeps our planet from drying out,

and sometimes Mother Nature packs quite a clout.

In the meantime, there is a blue sky with some clouds so soft,

and an imagination running as a plane soars aloft.
