One important role of the commander-in-chief is to lead us in times of crisis. The president is supposed to help us navigate difficult times. He or she acts as a bridge over troubled waters.
Did you know, according to Donald Trump that, climate change is a hoax perpetrated on us by China and that windmills cause cancer? Did you know that our current president was unable to figure out where our previous president was born? He was sure it was Kenya. I was told that foreign countries pay the tariffs on their products entering the United States, and not the consumers buying those products. Over the past 3-plus years, I have been shown that science is a thing to be manipulated in order to validate the prevailing narrative. The National Weather Service makes their maps out of paper, so that sharpies can be used to adjust the trajectory of hurricanes.
And now, according to our commander-in-chief, we are prepared for anything. The corona virus is under control. We are being led by a president who is smarter then his generals and who doesn’t believe in science. What could possibly go wrong?
