NEW YORK — Tristan da Silva scored 16 of his 22 points during a decisive second half to help Colorado pull away from No. 15 Miami 90-63 on Sunday in an NABC Brooklyn Showcase game at Barclays Center.

KJ Simpson scored 20 points while Luke O’Brien scored all 13 of his points during the game-ending 47-17 run for Colorado (7-2). J’Vonne Hadley, Eddie Lampkin Jr. and Julian Hammond III all added 11 points apiece.

The Buffaloes won without star freshman guard Cody Williams, who is day-to-day with a wrist injury.

Matthew Cleveland scored 17 points, Norchad Omier had 12 points and Wooga Poplar added 11 points for Miami (7-2), which lost a homecoming for coach Jim Larranaga, who was born in the Bronx and graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens.

MEMPHIS 81, NO. 21 TEXAS A&M 75

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — David Jones scored 29 points and tied a career-high with five 3-pointers to lead Memphis over Texas A&M.

Jones scored 21 points in the first half as Memphis (7-2) built a nine-point lead by halftime and didn’t trail in the second half.

Manny Obaseki had 21 points to lead Texas A&M (7-3). Aggies’ star Wade Taylor IV, the Southeastern Conference preseason player of the year, had a tough day and finished with nine points. He made just 3 of 14 shots and missed all nine of his 3-point attempts.

Jahvon Quinerly added a season-high 24 points for Memphis and Caleb Mills had 13.

NEBRASKA 77, MICHIGAN STATE 70

LINCOLN, Neb. — Juwan Gary scored 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting, Brice Williams scored all his 14 points in the second half and Nebraska beat Michigan State.

Keisei Tominaga hit three 3-pointers and finished with 15 points for Nebraska (8-2, 1-1 Big Ten) and C.J. Wilcher scored 10. Rienk Mast added eight points, 14 rebounds and six assists.

Gary scored in the lane and Williams hit a 3-pointer to give Nebraska a 67-65 lead before Malik Hall made to free throw to tie the score with 2 minutes to play. Tominaga answered with two foul shots to put the Cornhuskers back in front 14 seconds later and, after Hall missed a 3-point shot on the other end, Mast scored in the paint before Williams hit two free throws to make it 73-67 with 39 seconds left.

Hall made 7 of 7 from the free-throw line and led Michigan State (4-5, 0-2) with 22 points. Tyson Walker scored 17 points, A.J. Hoggard 12 and Jaden Akins 10.

BOSTON COLLEGE 86, ST. JOHN’S 80

NEW YORK — Quinten Post scored 14 points and was one assist shy of a triple-double, Chas Kelley III led a key scoring run, and Boston College defeated St. John’s in the NABC Brooklyn Showcase.

Boston College trailed by four with about seven minutes left, then took the lead for good when Kelley made four free throws and a layup in a one-minute stretch. At 3:11, Kelley buried a 3-pointer for a 76-70 lead and St. John’s would get no closer than five points the rest of the way.

Boston College led 38-36 at halftime but a 14-0 St. John’s run in which Joel Soriano scored eight points had the Red Storm up by 10 early in the second half. There were 11 ties and 11 lead changes in the game, but the Eagles led for the final 6:20.

Post had 11 rebounds and nine assists to go with his 14 points. Jaeden Zackery and Claudell Harris Jr. scored 14 each, Kelley scored 13 and Donald Hand Jr. added 11 for Boston College (8-3).

MICHIGAN 90, IOWA 80

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Tarris Reed Jr. scored a career-high 19 points and Michigan got hot from the floor in the second half, pulling away from Iowa to earn a Big Ten Conference victory.

Michigan (5-5, 1-1 Big Ten) led by two points at the break, 35-33 and opened the second half with a 15-5 run to take a 50-38 lead. The Wolverines shot 17 of 30 (56.7%) after intermission to snap a three-game losing streak and earn their first conference victory.

Nimari Burnett hit back-to-back 3-pointers and Olivier Nkamhoua followed with a 3 and a dunk to spark the run to open the second half. Terrance Williams II hit from distance and Nkamhoua hit a jumper with 3:44 left to push the Michigan lead to 20, at 80-60.

NORTHWESTERN 91, DETROIT MERCY 59

VANSTON, Ill. — Nick Martinelli came off the bench to hit 10 of 12 from the field for a career-high 22 points as Northwestern rolled to a 91-59 win over winless Detroit Mercy on Sunday afternoon.

The Wildcats collected 29 assists on 34 of 61 shooting from the field (55.7%), including 10 of 24 from behind the arc, and never trailed.

Ryan Langborg’s 3-pointer 24 seconds into the game put Northwestern in front. Jamail Pink hit from deep for Detroit Mercy to tie the game at 5-5, but Ty Berry hit a jumper and followed with a 3 and the Wildcats never looked back. Berry hit a jumper and a 3 to open the second half as the Wildcats expanded their 43-33 halftime advantage to a 52-33 lead.

Langborg hit 5 of 9 from distance and finished with 19 points, four assists and four steals for Northwestern (7-1). Berry hit 6 of 8 from the field and 3 of 4 from behind the arc to add 16 points. Brooks Barnhizer added 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds while dishing seven assists with two steals.

Marcus Tankersley scored a career-high 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Detroit Mercy (0-10). Jayden Stone added 13 points.
