Gabby Starr recorded a double-double as Berwick knocked off two-time defending divisional champion Pittston Area 52-44 Monday night in Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 girls basketball.

Starr finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds. She missed last season with an injury. RaeAnna Andreas had 15 points.

Lili Hintze led Pittston Area with 19. Maddie Karp had 14 and Daniella Ranieli added 12.

Dallas 60, Lake-Lehman 55

Molly Walsh scored seven of her team-high 28 points in the fourth quarter as Dallas defeated Lake-Lehman.

Dallas’ Mia DelGaudio added five points in the fourth and finished with 15. The game was tied 46-46 after three quarters.

Ella Wilson scored 29 for Lehman followed by Morgan Breslford with 10.

Mountain View 51, Wyoming Area 19

Krea Bonita had eight points and Addison Gaylord grabbed eight rebounds to pace Wyoming Area in a road loss.

Addison Kilmer led Mountain View with 21 points.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Wyoming Area 72, Mountain View 28

The Warriors scored 27 first-quarter points on the way to routing visiting Mountain View.

Dane Schutter scored 19 points to pace the victory. Brady Noone and Tyler Sciandra added 10 points each.

Hudson Bain had 10 for Mountain View.

Abington Heights 60, Wyo. Valley West 55

Mason Fedor and Robby Lucas scored 15 each as Abington Heights held off Wyoming Valley West.

Will Marion added 14 for the Comets.

Lemar Weatherspoon paced Valley West with 14. Jacob Stevens and Maki Wells added nine each.

Dallas 76, Lake-Lehman 41

The Mountaineers jumped to a 20-point lead after one quarter as they went on to defeat rival Lake-Lehman.

Dallas’ Nick Williams scored 10 of his 14 points in the first quarter. Mike Cumbo had nine and finished with a game-high 21. Pat Flanagan had 10.

Alex Smith had 19 to lead Lehman.

Williamsport 48, Holy Redeemer 47

George Sabatini scored 20 points and David Popson had 10 for Holy Redeemer in its non-conference loss to Williamsport.

Makhi Johnson led Williamsport with 18. Caden Holt added 12.
