Austin Seames scored with one second left in the second overtime to lift Wilkes over King’s for an 11-10 win in a non-conference men’s lacrosse game.

The visiting Monarchs shook off an early 5-1 deficit and led 9-8 heading into the fourth quarter. Tim Hartka scored his career-best fifth goal for the Colonels to tie the game at 10-10 in the fourth quarter.

Colby Opromolla had two goals and thee assists for Wilkes.

MEN’S VOLLEYBALL

Misericordia 3, Widener 0

Jared Piontkowski’s 13 kills led the Cougars in a sweep of Widener. He also added four aces and six blocks in the victory.

Set scores were 25-17, 25-21, 25-18 in favor of Misericordia.

Dallas 3, Pocono Mountain West 1

Dallas recovered from a loss in the first set and pulled out a tight win in the fourth in a non-conference boys volleyball match. The Mountaineers won by scores of 19-25, 25-17, 30-28, 25-16.

Leading the way were Cameron Faux (two aces, nine service points, 20 kills, 36 digs, two blocks), Christopher Miller (15 service points, five kills, 42 digs, two blocks), Carter Brunn (17 kills, seven digs, seven blocks) and Luke Nicolas (four aces, six service points, one kill, four digs, 41 assists).
