Lyndsy Frey had the game-winning goal with 13 seconds left in double overtime as Lake-Lehman edged Tunkhannock 9-8 Friday in Wyoming Valley Conference girls lacrosse.
Frey and Olivia Corcoran each finished with three goals for the Black Knights. Ava Greene, Sara Womach and Betsy Digiovanni had one apiece. Cadence Rindock stopped 14 shots.
Marian Cannella scored four goals and Kayla Griffin had two for Tunkhannock. Alex Franko and Madelyn Bevan also scored Emalyn Westfield had four saves.
BOYS LACROSSE
Delaware Valley 11, Nazareth 10
Peyton LaRocco scored five goals as Delaware Valley posted a non-conference win.
Justin Kalitsnik and Noah Rabolli had two goals each.
Wyoming Seminary 19, Johnston City 12
Matt Swartz scored seven goals and had four assists as Wyoming Seminary defeated Johnson City.
Jack Herron added six goals and three assists. Dan Fisher had three goals and two assists. Mike McMaugh scored twice and Mathew Botello had a goal.
Jagar MacDonald made 10 saves.
BASEBALL
Hughesville 12, Wilkes-Barre Area 2
Hughesville used a six-run fourth inning to pull away and eventually end the game after five innings.
James Bottger was 2-for-3 for WBA with a double and an RBI. He also struck out nine over three innings. Logan Sincavage was also 2-for-3 with an RBI. Avery Cour and Koleton Davies each had a single.
Valley View 11, Tunkhannock 0
Valley View jumped on Tunkhannock early, scoring seven runs in the first inning on the way to a five-inning victory.
Pat Munley had two singles to account for two of Tunkhannock’s five hits.
Mid Valley 13, Wyoming Area 4
Wyoming Area saw a 2-0 lead disappear in the third inning as Mid Valley scored three times and then added three more runs in the fourth.
Noah Smith had a double and an RBI for Wyoming Area. Jake Snyder had two hits and scored twice. David Fath had two singles and an RBI. Jeremy Layland singled and knocked in two runs.
SOFTBALL
Crestwood 17, Hanover Area 4
Freshman Alexa Toniatti knocked in three runs while four other Comets had two RBI as Crestwood ended the game after five innings.
Jorja Snyder, Madison Mendrzycki, Ella Richards and Brooke Lenahan all drove in two runs. Synder and Richards each had a double.
Kayla Gist was 2-for-2 for Hanover Area.
Hazleton Area 19, Nanticoke Area 5
Alyson Mummey was a triple short of the cycle as she drove in four runs for Hazleton Area.
Olivia Williams also homered and had four RBI. Marissa Hoffman tripled and had three RBI.
Cecily Johnson was 3-for-4 with three RBI for Nanticoke Area.

Wilkes 12, Moravian 2
Nathan Loch was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI to pace Wilkes.
Luke Spencer was 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI. Zachary Lloyd pitched five innings to pick up the win.
Misericordia 5, Delaware Valley 0
Misericordia’s Joe Valenti and Tyler Leonard combined for 12 strikeouts in a three-hit shutout over Delaware Valley.
Valenti struck out 10 over 7.2 innings and Leonard retired the last four batters in order, including two strikeouts.
Connor Maryniak had three hits and Joe Comins drove in three runs while Garrett McIlhenney scored twice.
