Tommy Biscotti and Spencer Young scored individual wins to lead Crestwood to a 3-2 victory over Holy Redeemer in a high school tennis match Monday.

The team Aaron Kogoy and Will Savner picked up the Comets’ other win ant No. 2 doubles.

Redeemer got wins from Frank Klimovitz in singles and the team of Jacob Ohrin and Jadon White in doubles.

Crestwood goes to 1-0 on the season while Holy Redeemer falls to 0-2.

BOYS LACROSSE

Wyoming Seminary 16, Wilkes-Barre Area 1

Jack Herron had six goals and five assists to lead Wyoming Seminary past Wilkes-Barre Area.

Also scoring for Seminary were Dan Fisher with five goals, Matt Swartz with two goals and six assists, Tedeas Bezdek with a goal and an assist and Sal Aita with a goal.

Jagar MacDonald had 10 saves in goal for Wyoming Seminary.

Dallas 16, Holy Redeemer 5

LJ Long, Jack Fleury and Noah Greco each scored four goals to lead Dallas past visiting Holy Redeemer.

Also scoring for Dallas were Cole Rigol with two goals and Anthony Vitale, Noah Moran, Ben Perlman, Connor Hivish and Jack Berti with one goal each.

Scranton Prep 16, North Pocono 3

Scranton Prep got four goals each from Finn Kane and Quinn Lynett as Prep defeated North Pocono.

Brady Holmes and Mackey Lynett each chipped in two goals for Prep, while Liam Barrett, Ryan Davis, Braedon McPartland and Chris Ramey each scored a goal.

North Pocono got goals from Brady Mapes, Riley Moore and Jake Laboranti.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Holy Redeemer 3, Lackawanna Trail 0

Holy Redeemer swept Lackawanna Trail by game scores of 25-11, 25-17 and 25-15.

Redeemer was led by Johnathan Rocha (13 kills, 1 block), Goerge Sabatini (11 kills), Jude Harfoush (1 kill, 1 block, 1 service point) and Nate Coates (1 kill, 1 service point).

Misericordia 9, Clarks Summit 0

The Misericordia University men’s tennis team opened the spring season with a 9-0 sweep over Clarks Summit.

Dalton Alexander, Chase Cavanaugh, Mikey Dylina and Derek Burcik were all double-winners for the Cougars.

Hunter Weselowski and Noah Ceklosky added singles wins while Karol Bialek and Christian Mazza teamed to win at third doubles.

Misericordia 9, Clarks Summit 0

The Misericordia University women’s tennis team opened the spring season with a 9-0 win over Clarks Summit, Monday.

The win marked the return of Misericordia alum Justin Muthler as head coach.

Brianna Pizzano, Hailey Loughlin, Emily Brecker, Lydia Barbour, Erin Cridge and Carissa Stefanski were all double-winners for the Cougars.
