The Dallas boys volleyball team fell behind two sets to one but rallied to take the final two sets and defeat Hazleton Area 3-2 on Wednesday.
After a 25-16 Dallas win in the opening set, Hazleton Area took the next two sets 25-22 and 25-12. Dallas would tie things up with a 25-17 win in the fourth, and seal the win with a 15-12 victory in the fifth and final set.
Carter Brunn led Dallas with 20 kills, while Cameron Faux chipped in 18 kills and eight digs.
Shawn Hill had 12 kills for Hazleton Area.
Holy Redeemer 3, Lake-Lehman 0
The Royals rolled through each set in a sweep of Lake-Lehman. Set scores were 25-4, 25-6 and 25-8 all in favor of Holy Redeemer.
Nathan Coates had four kills for Redeemer. Cole Bradley had seven points and a pair of aces.
Berwick 3, Hanover Area 0
Josh Kishbaugh had seven aces and 13 service points to lead Berwick in a sweep. Set scores were 25-4, 25-10, 25-22 for the Bulldogs.
Brock Seely added 18 kills for the Berwick offense, while Jayden Charles had 12 service points and 10 digs.
BOYS LACROSSE
Dallas 9, Tunkhannock 1
Andrew Machulski led the way with five goals as Dallas defeated Tunkhannock. Connor Hivish added two goals and an assist for the Mountaineers.
Tunkhannock’s lone goal of the game was scored by Kaden Youells, with an assist by Trevor Maryasz.
Delaware Valley 25, Holy Redeemer 1
The Warriors led 12-0 after one quarter on their way to a rout of Holy Redeemer. Nine different players scored at least two goals for Delaware Valley, led by Jaxon Barbalich with three goals.
Casey Kovaleski had the lone score for Holy Redeemer.
Abington Heights 14, Lake-Lehman 1
Evan Davis scored four goals, and the Comets defense came up big in a win over Lake-Lehman. Austin Boersma added three goals for Abington Heights, and goalie Colton Naholnik made 10 saves.
Hayden Evans scored Lake-Lehman’s only goal, with the assist by Logan Law.

WOMEN’S TENNIS
Drew 8, Wilkes 1
The Colonels were swept clean in six singles matches, falling to Landmark Conference foe Drew.
The doubles team of Tea Amerise and Kensington Edmond picked up the lone victory for Wilkes.
MEN’S TENNIS
Drew 7, Wilkes 2
Wilkes dropped to 3-4 in the Landmark Conference with a loss on the road.
Wins for the Colonels came from Nathanial Rathe in singles, and Angelo Guzman and Sebastian Sylvester in doubles.
WOMEN’S LACROSSE
Scranton 19, Wilkes 1
The Colonels were soundly defeated in their final road game of the season.
Wilkes fell behind 12-0 before Maleah Cobham scored the team’s only goal of the game. The Colonels fall to 2-13 overall, 0-7 in the Landmark Conference.
Lebanon Valley 18, Misericordia 10
Despite a big day for Skylar Dowling, Misericordia was unable to win on the road at Lebanon Valley.
Dowling had nine total points, on three goals and six assists. Michelle Torzilli added three goals and six draw controls.
FDU-Florham 21, King’s 10
King’s was outscored 11-2 in the second quarter and ultimately came up short against FDU-Florham.
Chloe Burke led the Monarchs with three goals.
MEN’S LACROSSE
Misericordia 13, Lebanon Valley 9
A 5-0 run over the final nine minutes led the Cougars to victory. Misericordia trailed 9-8 in the fourth quarter before rattling off five unanswered goals to take the lead and seal the win.
Brendan Stanley had four goals for Misericordia, and Jared Pelliccione had three goals and an assist.
Scranton 22, Wilkes 6
The Colonels dropped their final home game of the year, falling to 4-10 and 1-6 in the Landmark Conference.
Colby Opromolla and Tim Hartka had two goals each for Wilkes.
SOFTBALL
Misericordia splits
The Cougars dropped the opener 10-5 before rallying for a 12-4 win to force a split with Scranton.
Emma Griffin had three hits and two RBI in the second game, as Misericordia had 15 hits and scored 12 runs in just five innings.
